Our Storage Units

We offer three types of storage rooms within our facility, all indoors secure and safe. We originally started with the wooden containers, and then build Phase 2 which was some metal rooms offering different sizes ranging between 48-70 square foot, and then we built phase 3 which are 50 square foot rooms.

We sell padlocks in the sales office at £2.99 or you can supply your own, but a spare key is required to be left in case you lose your key and this happens on a regular basis with our current clients.

We sell boxes and packing materials on site in our shop, and can arrange collection prices if you are unable to move the goods into storage yourself.

If you are a self storage client, we do not offer blankets to cover your goods but we can rent you a bundle on a weekly rate but with a returnable deposit required. £100 deposit and we can offer 15 blankets at £3 per week plus vat.

To book a room we would require a 1 x form of ID of which we would need to copy for the file, and take some contact details for our records. The first 4 weeks storage are required upfront and then we can invoice thereafter and our opening times are below. Trolleys are available

Containerised Storage

Better Removals & Storage run a 40,000 sq. ft warehouse fully alarmed, CCTV operated Storage Facility which is ideally situated to accommodate Hertfordshire, Essex, Cambridgeshire & Peterborough. We collect all goods from your property completing a full inventory on site

Allocated Space in Our Storage Facility

Each Container is numbered and allocated a space within our storage facility. With Containerised Storage, we collect all goods from your property completing a full inventory on site of which you the customer retain a copy, and then your goods are stored away safely, fully blanket wrapped until you require delivery. If you require constant access, then please click here for self storage.

If possible we will try to use our side loading specialist built container lorries which hold either 4 or 5 containers and can load the containers at your property, or if the volume exceeds this then we would need to loose load and unload into storage. The same would go for small loads, we would not send out the HGV for 1 or 2 containers.

Large Fleet of Vehicles To Suit Your Move

Because of the large fleet that Better Removals operate, we are capable of completing over 10 moves a day sending out the large HGV vehicles, or the 7.5 tonne Lorries where the access is a little tight or if you have poor access or are moving within a busy city then we have multiple Luton Vans that we can send out to complete those awkward moves with ease. Our vehicles carry specialised equipment for the moves, like sofa covers, mattress bags, TV & picture sleeves, floor protectors and tools for any dismantling and re-assembling that may be required, We also carry over 100 transit blankets to cover your furniture for protection whilst in Transit.

BAR Trained Staff

Our staff are BAR trained on a regular basis and follow strict health and safety procedures to comply with all the rules and regulations, they are fully uniformed, including PPE, high viz with protective footwear and we are FORS accredited plus our team have passed the Urban Cycling Course, and are well prepared to drive safely through busy cities like London & Cambridge.
